Daily Life
Woke up early in the morning, at about 8 a.m.. I had to pick up a group of friends from Australia. They're from Vietnam actually, but they have lived in Brisbane for quite a while. Im not sure.
So my parents kept bugging me to work out how on earth the boot of the car works.... They exchanged cars with my uncle as we needed space to accommodate an extra 4 people. We borrowed the Nissan Presage. So i juz had to go to the back pull the lock, and its open!
Lol...
It was a 6-seater so things were different from our own car. I managed to work out the many toys found on the car. There is Sat-Nav, DVD Player, electric powered doors... the lot.
Starting it was even more tricky. Its got keyless entry, so no keys are required to unlock or start the car. U juz need the remote in ur pocket and... u're away!
So the Sat-Nav that displays ur current location, that works... just fine. However, i tried to enter a destination and it will automatically plan a route 4 u to follow. It also shows ur estimated distance from target, and an audio system that guides u as u drive, just so u don't get distracted by looking at the LCD screen. We've also defied the system, meaning we take a different route as planned by the Sat-Nav. It would either plan another route or juz leave u alone.
The car aside, we took our friends to a hawker centre to have breakfast, and then to parkway parade to shop, had lunch as Sakae Sushi, dropped by at my place to have a look and then when back to their friends' place and then head out to church service.
They called in the evening to ask Hien to visit our place as they said looked great. Hien could not come earlier as he had to prepare for his church service. So they came again. They were so kind. I wish they could stay in S'pore for a longer period but they have to head back for Australia by nitefall tml.
