Slowly many things...

I don't really know what to post in this, but i think i can try to break it down in just a few paragraphs.

During my most recent driving lesson, i learnt to do a reverse-parking. I failed during the first few attempts, but i managed to crack it subsequently.

My dad insisted in letting me practise driving his car at his working place on Sunday. It was brilliant!!! I found the car very joyous and lovely to drive, although i was warned that the steering is quite sensitive at higher speed, as it does in most Hondas. But most importantly, I managed to get a feel of driving so i don't really have to struggle during my driving lessons.

Going back a little bit, I was intending to attend the Singapore Motorshow 2008 on Saturday, which happens once every 2 years. As it was F1 week, the tickets to the show cost $6 instead of the usual $8. But again, as it was F1 week, the show closes as 7.00pm, and we were told to come back the next day as there is quite a number of things to see.

To be frank, there wasn't as most car companies either pulled out at the last minute or didn't plan to be present at all. But there were some good points, the best one was the appearance of the Nissan GT-R, the incredible supercar which trashed many other much more expensive supercars at the Nürburgring Circuit. Amazing isn't it, that the GT-R has 4 seats and a big boot, its faster than a Porsche 911 Turbo which costs twice as much.

I managed to catch a glimpse of what its like to watch an F1 car "fly by" near Marina Square. The location was a great spot, but it could also be the worst. WHY? Because I was standing on a slope under the Marina Square bridge, where you can get a very good view of the track. And because it was the longest straight of the track, the drivers would use full-throttle to tame it. That results in what feels like "fighter jets on the track" ear piercing noise that you can't in anyway possibly do without ear-plugs. So we left after 15 minutes of watching. But it was a great experience, as it was my first time watching F1 car driving by on a racing track.

Nothing else to say, as our class chalet is coming next week.

=)

None of which matters to us <3.
