Please somebody tell me my blog isn't dead. Well, when i say, dead, i mean close to being dead.

Anyway, one of our greatest fears came along last wednesday, as to when our posting was read our to see who goes the company line and who doesn't. We're told in advance that 13 of us would be posted to out. Sadly, i'm one of the 'lucky' ones, i'm one of the 13 people going to the company line. Well, at least I have my 'co-presenters' coming with me.

Oh, the previous week i went out to test some new cars, namely the Volkswagen Polo and that Kia Cerato Forte Koup. To keep this review short and sweet, i would say that the Polo was very driver-friendly, while the Kia was very fun and engaging to drive. I particularly love the way the DSG (Direct-Shift Gearbox) gearbox in the Polo works, as it sorts of 'slides' from gear to gear very swiftly and decisively. You don't actually feel it working its way through the cogs until you notice the rev-counter needle drops and rises quickly. The Kia however, was slightly more difficult to handle, pretty much because it has a manual gearbox, and that it stalls if you don't get the needle in the rev-counter pointed in the correct value. That aside, you have more control over the car than in the Polo. Its also slightly better looking, and better equipped, like for instance, a USB plug and a factory-fitted iPod connectivity, and speakers which flashes according to your mood or the beat of your music.

I wanted to test the Volkswagen Scirocco, but sadly, it wasn't available on that day. I really love that car, as its all i could ever want in a small coupe, wrapped nicely in a pretty and well-built body.
