Why I'm Here

Some of you might be wondering why im posting this today, when I'm supposed to be in camp.

Well... I was doing my SOC test, and while i completed the swing trainer at last, i sort of, fell and landed wrongly, and i "slightly" sprained my ankle. I admit it was my mistake, for not landing properly, and as a result, i "faced the music". The rest of the Signals platoon watched me being helped into the KMC, where i felt utterly lost and embarrassed.

The MO gave me a 2-day medical leave, and was referred to the Polyclinic for an X-Ray treatment, where i got a real taste of what its like to be a disabled. I had to have PS SB push me around wherever i had to go. I've lost the kind of manouvrebility i used to have.

The worst part is when i wan driven back to the COY line and the rest of the company marched back from lunch, and they all saw me with clutches in my arms. Then my platoon buddies came to me with various documents for my signatures, and bringing my stuff to me.

We waited for at least 4 hours before i got my medicine, and some kind woman offered to drive me back home as she saw i was injured. SO NICE!!! And i saved on my taxi fare i was about to part with. I really can't thank her enough, as a taxi ride from there to my home would have cost me a fortune.

Now, i'm just recuperating at home. I want to recover fast, so a can fufill my duties as the Hawk COY OC Signaller.

=)

None of which matters to us <3.
